A space for you.
Therapy can be a space just to put everything in front of you and be seen in it, a space for some guidance and problem-solving, a space to prepare for going back out into the world. I like to offer this space to those who don’t usually have it, particularly offering space for members of the LGBTQ+ community, neurodivergent folks, and members of alternative lifestyles.
About me
I’m a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) providing therapy in the state of Massachusetts. I work best with clients who want a space to hit pause on life, drop their stuff in front of them and be seen in their experience. These folks often want to figure things out themselves, but also want the space to do that with a little guidance. Clients I work well with are often part of the LGBTQ+ community, neurodivergent, or have alternative lifestyles. My therapeutic style tends towards building nonjudgmental understanding and support to help navigate the world outside.
My style is typically unstructured and flexible, loose while focused on encouraging self-understanding through exploration of emotional and mental patterns. I'm very much about meeting you where you're at, using either the space itself for your to sort out what's happening for you or gentle guidance to facilitate self-understanding and problem solving.
I approach therapy with the belief that people have the power to make changes in their lives and emotional well-being, and can access that power most easily with support, validation, and nonjudgmental space to sit in thoughts and feelings, before unpausing life to go back into the world.
